How to make it

  • Rinse corn and drain well.
  • Mix butter, garlic, basil, cumin, black pepper, and chili powder in container.
  • Brush skewered ears of corn with vegetable oil and place on the edge of the hottest part of the grill.
  • Cook slowly for 10 minutes.
  • Place two halves corn on a serving plate and brush each half with 1/2 tablespoon butter mixture.

    Ok, did you realize that this is not a recipe. It is corn with butter and everytbody knows to put butter on corn. Are these really the kind of recipes that your getting at the block parties. Also, where are the herbs. I'll offer a recipe for you. How about butter on bread. It's an excellent recipe and I got it at an open house. People go wild over this recipe, but don't be intimidated by the level of difficulty. I can't believe I fell for this one.
