  • In a saucepan, heat together cherry juice and 1 cup water. In a bowl. mix together the salt, sugar and tapioca with 1/2 c water. Slowly stir this into the heated juice, stirring constantly. Cook unto thick, Add cinnamon and cherries and stir. Chill. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Pour cherry mixture into pie crust and top with lattice crust. Bake for 10 min and then reduce heat to 350 and bake until filling is bubbly and crust light brown, about 30 minutes? Serves 6 to 8
