Kidney Bean Curry (rajmah Curry)

- 1 cup kidney beans shopping list
- 4 finely chopped onions shopping list
- 5 finely chopped tomatoes shopping list
- 8 - 9 finely chopped garlic cloves shopping list
- medium sized ginger piece finely chopped shopping list
- 1 bunch coriander bunch finely chopped shopping list
- garam masala shopping list
- 4-5 green chilies shopping list
- red chilly powder 1/2 tea spoon shopping list
- salt to taste. shopping list
- oil 2-3 tbs shopping list
How to make it
- wash kidney beans and steam them in pressure cooker for 1 5 mins.
- check if tender or steam again
- in a pan heat oil 2 tbs and add onions, when golden brown add ginger and garlic till golden brown....
- now add tomatoes and cook.
- add grean chilly and the rest of the ingredients
- cook well for 2 mins
- now add the drained kidney beans to it
- add water 1 - 2 cups according to the amount of gravy you want and cook for 25 mins
- add coriander ....
- close lid and cook for another 3-5 mins.
- sprinkle the rest of the coriander...
- serve hot with rice.... (plain or jeera rice)
