Nigella's Lemon Ice Cream

- juice of 3 unwaxed lemons + zest of 2 of them shopping list
- 420ml double cream shopping list
- 170g icing sugar shopping list
- 3 tbsp chilled water shopping list
How to make it
- Pour the juice into a small bowl with the zest and icing sugar, stir to combine and leave for 30 minutes to let the flavors come together.
- Whip the cream with 3 tablespoons chilled water until it forms soft peaks, then whisk in the sweetened lemon juice. Tun into a shallow container, cover and freeze until firm.
- Place in fridge around 40 minutes before serving to soften.
