How to make it

  • Crumb topping: work with fingers until fine crumb.
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 3/4 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • Bake 40 minutes 400 degrees until brown
  • ***I always cover the pie crust edges with foil and bake with the foil on for most of the time until last 15 minutes. Sometimes it stays on the entire time. I always use foil on my crusts.
