Firecracker Casserole

- 1 - 2 pounds ground beef shopping list
- 1 medium onion, chopped shopping list
- 15 ounces black beans, rinsed and drained shopping list
- 1 tablespoon chili powder shopping list
- 2 teaspoons cumin shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 4 flour or corn tortillas -- 7 inch size shopping list
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup shopping list
- 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes and green chilies, undrained shopping list
- 1 - 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Brown ground beef and onion; drain.
- Add beans, chili powder, cumin and salt; mix well.
- Transfer to a greased 9×13-inch pan.
- Arrange tortillas over top.
- Combine the soup and the tomatoes with green chilies, mixing well.
- Pour mixture over the tortilla layer and sprinkle with the cheese.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350º for 25 to 30 minutes, or until fully heated and bubbly.
