Ingredients

How to make it

  • In a large bowl, mix sugar, flour, cocoa, eggs, and melted butter until thoroughly combined
  • Pour into a parchment paper lined 9 inch square baking dish.
  • Press ( enough ) candy bars into top of batter- I spaced evenly and did not use all 24- saved 3 or 4 for the topping )
  • Bake in a 375 degree oven for about 25 minutes.
  • Remove and cool.
  • Spread melted butterscotch chips ( I used chocolate ) over top of brownies (brownies can be warm still) and sprinkle immediately with chocolate jimmies( I omitted )
  • Allow to cool completely before cutting
  • Note: I did not used parchment paper ( used a a baking spray instead )
  • Also if chilled the topping gets too hard so let them come back to room temperature prior to serving.
