How to make it

  • Beat the marscapone, powdered sugar and heavy cream together till it starts to stiffen up then scrape the vanilla bean and put into the cream mixture and beat until peaks stand up on their own.
  • Flatten out the biscuits on a cutting board and put in hot oil and fry both sides till done.
  • Remove from the oil onto paper towels and coat lightly with cinnamon and sugar mix.
  • layer with the cream and berries
  • EAT IT!

    Mascarpone and berries are a match made in heaven! I do a mascarpone coated berry in puff pastry, but this sounds like a fantastic alternative to a birthday cake! And, here in the south, you always get points for fried! hehe :) Nice post.

    you FRIED the biscuits... brilliant!!! It reminds me when me and my brother were kids we'd make donuts out of refrigerated biscuit dough :-)
