Chocolate-peanut Butter Cupcakes

- 1 package (18. 1/4 ounces) chocolate cake mix shopping list
- 1 1/4 cups water shopping list
- 1/2 cup peanut butter shopping list
- 1/3 canola oil shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 24 miniature peanut butter cups shopping list
- frosting shopping list
- 6 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped shopping list
- 2/3 cup heavy whipped cream shopping list
- 1/3 cup peanut butter shopping list
- extra peanut butter cups, chopped shopping list
How to make it
- in a bowl combine the cake mix, water, peanut butter, oil and eggs, beat on low speed for 30 seconds then on medium for 2 minutes or until smooth
- fill paper lined muffin cups half full and thenplace a peanut butter cup and then cover with a tablespoon of batter
- bake at 350 degrees for 18-22 minutes cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans to cool completely
- place chocolate in bowl in a small saucepan put cream and bring just to a boil and then pour over the chocolate whisk until smooth and then stir in the peanut butter cool to roomtemperature or until mixture reaches a spreading consistency about 10 minutes
- Spread over the cupcakes and immediately sprinkle with the additional peanut butter cups
