How to make it

  • in a bowl combine the cake mix, water, peanut butter, oil and eggs, beat on low speed for 30 seconds then on medium for 2 minutes or until smooth
  • fill paper lined muffin cups half full and thenplace a peanut butter cup and then cover with a tablespoon of batter
  • bake at 350 degrees for 18-22 minutes cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans to cool completely
  • place chocolate in bowl in a small saucepan put cream and bring just to a boil and then pour over the chocolate whisk until smooth and then stir in the peanut butter cool to roomtemperature or until mixture reaches a spreading consistency about 10 minutes
  • Spread over the cupcakes and immediately sprinkle with the additional peanut butter cups
