Tom's So Easy Spice Cake With Apples, Cream Cheese Frosting And Pecans Recipe

How to make it

  • Cook cake with the directions on the box.
  • let cool in refrigerator
  • take first layer and add pie filling, some frosting and pecans add the next layer and do the same, but drizzle with the warmed cream cheese frosting.sprinkle with pecans and a crumb mixture made from graham crackers butter and cinnamon.

    My favorite cakes are spice cake and carrot cake. And this is so going to get made, hide and eaten by me!!!

    Okay you...
    Please get out your pencil and paper,because there is a quiz.
    (1) Who is Tom?
    (2) Why is he baking his own Fathers Day Cake?
    ~ and ~
    (3) How long would it take him to pack that last piece of cake in dry ice,call Fed Ex,and have it on a Texas doorstep?
    Now take you time and think...for I am sitting here with my trusty red grading pen,and I am quite sure you would not want to take this course over again ~ Big Grin ~
    Now hand over that last piece of cake and no one will get hurt :o)
    All kidding aside the recipe reads of a very nice cake.
    Last question...did you happen to use Texas Pecans? ~ Laughing ~
    Now,I must go,because it is late and I am tired.
