How to make it

  • Cook cake with the directions on the box.
  • let cool in refrigerator
  • take first layer and add pie filling, some frosting and pecans add the next layer and do the same, but drizzle with the warmed cream cheese frosting.sprinkle with pecans and a crumb mixture made from graham crackers butter and cinnamon.

    Okay you...
    Please get out your pencil and paper,because there is a quiz.
    (1) Who is Tom?
    (2) Why is he baking his own Fathers Day Cake?
    ~ and ~
    (3) How long would it take him to pack that last piece of cake in dry ice,call Fed Ex,and have it on a Texas doorstep?
    Now take you time and think...for I am sitting here with my trusty red grading pen,and I am quite sure you would not want to take this course over again ~ Big Grin ~
    Now hand over that last piece of cake and no one will get hurt :o)
    All kidding aside the recipe reads of a very nice cake.
    Last question...did you happen to use Texas Pecans? ~ Laughing ~
