Sauteed Pork Chops With Vinegar And Rosemary For 2 Recipe
A delicious and easy way to jazz up some pork chops!

Ingredients
  • 2 loin pork chops (3/4"-1" thick) trimmed of fat
  • coarse salt to taste
  • freshly ground pepper to taste
  • 1 T unsalted butter
  • 1 T olive oil
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup chicken stock
  • 1 T fresh rosemary leaves

Directions
  1. Pat pork chops dry with paper towel and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat butter and oil in a heavy skillet and brown the chops for 3-4 minutes on 1 side. Repeat 3-4 mins. on other side.
  3. Add chicken stock ,vinegar, and rosemary. Scrape up the cooking juices and cover the pan.
  4. Cook over moderate heat for approximately 5 minutes or until sauce is reduced to a glaze and chops are done.
  5. Place on heated plates and spoon the glaze over the top.

I have made this straight down to the half butter and half olive oil, I never measure though and it's usually for 4 even though we are a family of three but my husband eats a lot.
