Spiced Sweet Potatoes With Cinnamon Honey And Walnuts Recipe

These have a great flavour. Heat and eat... could not be easier.

Ingredients
- 1 can (1 lb. 12 oz) sweet potatoes, drained and mashed
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup cream
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1 t. pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- Salt to taste
Directions
- Combine all the ingredients in a casserole and heat through, in a 325 oven. Sprinkle top with a few finely chopped walnuts.

Hmm...a new alternative for the Sweet Potatoe Casserole which is mandatory for fall gatherings. Either my daughter or I always seem to get assigned the Sweet Potatoes. This looks well worth testing. Maybe with a 1/4 cup of bourbon. Not in the casserole, that is for the chef... LOL
