How to make it

  • boil potatos until soft,and let come to room temp
  • with a spoon scoop out the meat of potato and use for another recipe after cutting off the top,leaving a container to hold the other ingredients,(i like to leave about a 1/4 inch of potato)
  • put in oz of sour cream into each potato
  • top with 2/3 oz of caviar
  • cut chives into 1/3 and stick piece in sour cream
  • note for those really talented with a knife,cut the potato like a basket,leaving part of the top as a handle, i'm to lazy to be bothered !!!

    love breezy, cut the top off and scoop out with a spoon,you do not use the scooped out potao meat, in this recipe! i usually save the scooped out meat and make pa. dutch fried mash potato's the next day

    Please clarify: Do you cut the potatoes in half leaving you with 48 halves (unless you do the basket cut). If so, do you put 1/2 oz. of sour cream in each. Also please, do you use the scooped out potato meat in this recipe?
