Stove Top Mac & Cheese

- Half pound elbow macaroni shopping list
- 4 TB butter shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 6 ounces evaporated milk shopping list
- 1/2 tsp hot sauce (optional) shopping list
- 1 tsp kosher salt shopping list
- fresh black pepper shopping list
- 3/4 tsp dry mustard (optional) shopping list
- 10 ounces finely shredded sharp cheddar shopping list
How to make it
- In a large pot of boiling, salted water cook the pasta to al dente and drain. Return pasta to the pot and add the butter to melt, tossing to coat. Whisk together all of the other ingredients except the cheese. Stir the mixture into the pasta, then add the cheese. Continue to cook over low heat stirring often for about 3 minutes or until creamy.
