How to make it

  • grease two deep 12 hole patty tins
  • cut out shortpastry to, and press into the greased pans, prick bases with a fork, and freeze for 20mins
  • then cook in in a hot oven at 200.c for 10mins or until golden, remove and cool
  • reduce oven temp to 120.c
  • meanwhile combine white chocolate, cream and icing sugar in a small heat proof bowl, place over a small pan of simmering water, stirring until choc has melted, remove from heat, cool slightly and whisk in egg until commbinned
  • divide the nuts and chocolate mixture evenly among pastry cases
  • bake for 15mins or until lightly browned and set, stand in the pan for 5 mins then transfer to wire rack and cool
  • drizzle melted milk chocolate over each tart, stand at room temp til set
