Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Place the peeled, whole garlic cloves in the bowl of a food processor and process until minced.
  • Add the parsley, oregano, salt and pepper and pulse a few times till it starts to look kind of pesto like. Not totally blended though.
  • Heat the olive oil in a medium saute pan and add the garlic mixture. Remove the pan from the heat.
  • Slice the bread in half horizontally, and spread the butter on top half. Spread the garlic mixture on the bottom half of the bread, and put the halves together.
  • Wrap the bread in aluminum foil.
  • Place the bread in the oven and bake for 5 minutes. Open the foil, and continue baking for an additional 5 minutes.
  • Cut into slices and enjoy! Trust me, there will be no left overs!

I probably shouldn't admit this, but I love this bread so much I could (and have) eaten it as a meal by itself! Hope you like it!
