- In no particular order things one can keep on hand for emergencies: shopping list
- Fresh bottled water supply shopping list
- Nonfood perishables: crackers, peanut butter, sardines, bread, bagels, dry milk powder, etc. shopping list
- Remember a hand can opener too shopping list
- Pet Food- esp. dry shopping list
- Baby Food- dry formula, jars etc. shopping list
- Working Flashlights ( battery operated ) shopping list
- Batteries: all kinds: D,C, AAA,AA, Lantern battery etc. shopping list
- Transistor or wind up radio so you keep informed shopping list
- Run RV generator, if you own an RV shopping list
- Check and maintain your portable home generator monthly or as required shopping list
- Have gas/fuel containers filled in their proper containers and stored away from heat sources for snow blower,generator, propane cylinders, chain saw,kerosene heater etc shopping list
- If you own a Kerosene heater make sure it is in working condition- do you have an extra wick for it? shopping list
- ( remember to keep your window open a crack when using kerosene heaters ) shopping list
- Table Top Camp Stove ( remember to keep your window open a crack ) for brief cooking only, not for heat source shopping list

- Money from ATM shopping list
- Refill any prescriptions, shopping list
- Snow Blower working shopping list
- Wood for your wood stove shopping list
- Fill bath tub with water for general cleaning, washing, flushing toilets etc shopping list
- Warm coats, boots, hats, gloves ready shopping list
- Snow shovel and snow rake available shopping list
- Have a plan where you will stay if you need to evacuate your home shopping list
- Have important insurance, emergency numbers together for quick reference shopping list
- Use a camera to take photos of any damage or losses of your home and property shopping list
