Wet Ingredients
- 1 lb - butter (softened) shopping list
- 2 lb - dark brown sugar shopping list
- 8 - Large eggs shopping list
- 2 Cups - sour cream shopping list
- 1 - Mixing Bowl shopping list
Dry Ingredients
- 6 Cups - All Purpose flour shopping list
- 3 tsp - cinnamon shopping list
- 2 tsp - cloves shopping list
- 1 tsp - nutmeg shopping list
- 1 tsp - salt shopping list
- 2 tsp - baking soda shopping list
- 3 Cups - raisins shopping list
- 1 Cup - walnuts (shelled) shopping list
- 1 - Mixing Bowl shopping list

- 4 - bread Loaf Pans shopping list
- Grease & flour to coat pans shopping list
How to make it
Wet Ingredients
- In first mixing bowl, cream well the 1 lb Butter and 2 lb Dark Brown Sugar. Add 8 Large Eggs, one at a time, and beat well after each additional egg. Add 2 Cups Sour Cream and blend well.
Dry Ingredients
- In second mixing bowl, sift together 6 Cups All Purpose Flour, 3 tsp Cinnamon, 2 tsp Cloves, 1 tsp Nutmeg, 1 tsp Salt, 2 tsp Baking Soda. Add 3 Cups Raisins and 1 Cup Walnuts and mix until coated well.
Christmas Cake
- Mix Dry Ingredients with Wet Ingredients. Grease and Flour 4 Bread Loaf Pans. Evenly divide Wet/Dry Mixture into 4 pans. Preheat oven to 350 degrees while batter sets. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour.
