How to make it

  • Heat a pan over med. heat, add butter and let foam up. Meanwhile, dredge cheese through flour first, than through egg. Dredge through breadcrums, pressing on the crumbs slightly. If you want a thicker crust, repeat the egg and breadcrumbs steps.
  • Put cheese in pan and cook, turning once, for 3 or 4 min per side, until nicely brown, soft and plumped up a little. Serve at once with cranberry sauce. I also like a simple green salad on the side.
