Corned Beef Boiled Dinner

- 4 lb. corned beef shopping list
- water to cover shopping list
- 6 small peeled white onions shopping list
- 1 peeled onion, stuck with 8 cloves shopping list
- 2 bay leaves shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. thyme shopping list
- 2 teaspoons salt shopping list
- 3 peeled parsnips shopping list
- 8 medium halved carrots shopping list
- 1 turnip, cut in chunks shopping list
- 5 medium quartered potatoes shopping list
- 3 stalks celery, cut in 3-inch lengths shopping list
- 2-1/2 tbsp. chopped parsley shopping list
How to make it
- Place all the ingredients except the parsley in the crockery pot. Cover
- and cook on the low setting for 10-12 hours. To serve, drain and place
- the corned beef on a serving platter with the vegetables around it.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serves 10.
