Pink Lemonade Cake

- 1 cup butter or quality margarine shopping list
- 2 cups sugar shopping list
- 1 Tbs grated lemon zest shopping list
- 4 large eggs shopping list
- 3 cups flour shopping list
- 2 tsp baking powder shopping list
- pinch salt shopping list
- pink food color ( optional ) but it makes cake colorful shopping list
- 1 cup frozen pink lemonade, thawed shopping list
- Optional lemonade glaze or butter frosting shopping list
How to make it
- Cream butter and sugar fluffy
- Beat in the eggs and lemon zest
- Sift flour, salt and basking powder
- Add flour alternately with lemonade and beat smooth
- Beat in desired amount of red food color to tint batter pink
- Place batter into a greased and flour bundt pan
- Bake in a 350F oven about 1 hour or tested done in center with toothpick
- Cool in pan on rack for 10- 15 minutes before removing from pan to cool completely
- Frost or glaze as desired
