How to make it

  • Combine all ingredients into small sauce pan
  • Bring to boil then lower heat and simmer till reduced and sauce has thickened. The strong bourbon flavor will be gone leaving just a hint
  • (Plan for your steak or salmon to be done at the same time. This sauce really thickens when cooled)
  • Pour over steak or salmon

    I have some ribeyes sitting in my freezer and I bet this would be perfect for them! That's a good looking steak!

    Now that's a sauce! Love the ingredients, especially 4 cloves of garlic! Bookmarked to try the next time we have salmon..very nice post Mr. P!
