How to make it

  • Heat oil over medium heat.
  • Add onion and sausage and cook a few minutes until onions begin to soften.
  • Add garlic and red pepper and cook another 2 minutes or so.
  • Add remaining ingredients up through butter.
  • Simmer, stirring occasionally, for at least 30 minutes, but longer is better, so at least an hour, if possible.
  • Add salt and pepper as needed
  • Add butter, stirring until melted and serve over pasta :)

    I just love to find new ways to use Andoullie and this looks like a winner. BTW "Sprouts" food markets make a great fresh (raw) Andoullie and you find it at the meat counter.

    Love your pasta! Too cute :) I don't like the Andoullie they sell at my grocery store but did notice that had it uptown at Whole Foods. I will for sure pick some up for this soon! YUM!
