Poached Pork Tenderloin

- Pork tenderloin; about 3 lbs. shopping list
- kosher salt shopping list
- 6 garlic cloves, minced shopping list
- 1 ½ c milk shopping list
- 1 T cornstarch shopping list
- S&P to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Rinse and pat dry tenderloins. They usually come 2 to a package.
- Rub with kosher salt.
- Cut in half across tenderloins to fit into a 7x11 casserole dish.
- On medium heat, sear tenderloins in a teaspoon of oil for 2 to 3 minutes each on top and bottom.
- Place in casserole dish.
- Color up garlic cloves in a teaspoon of oil then add milk and bring to a simmer over medium-lo heat.
- Pour milk mixture over to cover half way up the tenderloins.
- Bake for 30 to 45 minutes until tenderloins register 140F.
- Plate tenderloins and cover for 10 minutes whilst thickening milk with a cornstarch slurry. Season to taste.
- Cut pork into medallions and spoon on thickened garlic milk sauce.
