Mushroom Pasties

- Dough: shopping list
- 1-8 oz. package cream cheese shopping list
- 1 1/2 C flour shopping list
- 1/2 C margarine/butter shopping list
- Filling: shopping list
- 1 lb. mushrooms, minced shopping list
- l -lg. onion, minced shopping list
- 3 T. margarine shopping list
- 1/4 C sour cream shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. thyme shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 egg, beaten shopping list
How to make it
- To prepare dough:
- Blend all ingredients in a mixer, then form into a ball. Refrigerated for 1 hr.
- To prepare filling: Sauté mushrooms and onion in margarine/butter. When
- cooked, add sour cream thyme & salt. Roll dough out to 1/4” (1 cm)
- thickness. Cut in 3” (7 cm) circles. Fill with 1 tsp. (5 ml) filling, drained
- slightly. Brush edges with egg.
- Fold & seal by pressing edge with a fork. Pierce top in 2 or 3 places.
- Brush top with egg. Bake for 10 to 20 minutes at 400 degrees or until
- lightly browned.
- Freeze well.
