Easy Chocolate Pie Recipe
I found this recipe. It looks so easy. I like to try new recipes that are unusual. This is one of t hem.

Ingredients
  • 1 Can Chocolate Frosting
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 Tall Can Evaporated Milk
  • 1 Stick Softened Butter
  • I am not sure of the size pie shell. I would imagine 9".

Directions
  1. Beat milk and eggs together; add can of frosting and butter.
  2. Mix until well blended.
  3. Pour into pie crust and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. I had this baking for 45 minutes. I dont think it ever comes out toally clean...sets up beatuiful. I
  4. I finally made this and am so glad I found it.
  5. Check to be sure knife comes out clean.
  6. Let cool and serve with or without whipped topping.
  7. Delicious and easy!

If anyone tries it let me know. Just so simple and fast. I have not made this yet. But it was so unusual I had to post it.


I bet you can use various frosting mixes with this. Thinking german chocolate frosting, or even vanilla or strawberry pie. I am sure it is endless.


Okay, I made this and it was wonderful. And not very sweet. I served it with homemade whip cream.
