How to make it

  • 1. Place the chicken, bay leaves, celery, onion, bouillon, and house seasoning in a large pot. Add 4 quarts of water and bring to a simmer. simmer for about 40 minutes.
  • 2. Remove chicken from the pot. When it is cool enough, remove the skin and bones. put the chicken meat back in the pot.
  • 3. Mix your flour and your salt in a large bowl. Slowly add 3/4 cups of water to the mixture, kneading the dough the whole time. roll into a ball.
  • 4. Dust flour onto a work surface, and roll out your dough. allow it to breath.
  • 5. Add the cream of Chicken soup to the pot of chicken and vegetables. Simmer.
  • 6. Cut the dough into 1 inch pieces, and drop into the simmering soup. do not stir, but gently turn the pot in circles. Cook until the dumplings float.
  • 7. Serve with the vegetables and soup left in the pot!
