How to make it

  • FOR SALAD: Cook noodles as directed, drain and cool, but do not add the seasoning packets.  I like to chop up the noodles just a bit so they are easier to eat. Mix cabbage, noodles and any optional salad ingredients together in a large bowl.  Just before serving, toss the salad with the dressing, and sprinkle cashews all over the top.
  • FOR DRESSING: Put dressing ingredients in small jar and shake briskly until well blended and thickened; let set at least 30 minutes.  Stir well again, just before pouring over salad.
