Ingredients

How to make it

  • Heat oil in a large frying pan on medium low heat;
  • Add garlic and sugar and sauté, stirring, until slightly caramelised;
  • Stir in the Leeks and sauté for some 10 minutes or so, or until slightly browned;
  • Drizzle with lemon juice and season with salt and pepper;
  • Cover and cook on very low heat for some 15 to 20 minutes or until tender.
  • Serve
