From pkusmc 10 years agoIngredients
                    - 1 lb swordfish steak, 1" thick shopping list
- 1 T kosher salt shopping list
- 1 tsp black pepper shopping list
- 2 T fresh minced rosemary shopping list
- 1 tsp fresh minced thyme shopping list
- 2 T veggie oil shopping list
- 2 T butter shopping list
- 2 cloves chopped garlic shopping list
How to make it
                    - Generously season all sides of the steak with salt and pepper
- I minced the rosemary and thyme together..if you do it separately, mix em later and rub it into both sides of the steak, leaving about 1/2 tsp on the side
- Put oil in a non stick pan and heat on high
- Once the oil is shimmering, place the steak in the pan and lower the heat to medium high
- Cook for about 5 minutes and flip
- Cook the other side for about 5 minutes and then add the butter
- Once the butter is melted add the chopped garlic and the rest of the rosemary/thyme
- Place the steak skin side down in the pan and sear the skin
- Cook each side about another minute rubbing it in the butter See Photo
- Remove from heat and allow to rest 5 minutes
- Serve with pan melted butter sauce on top
- Enjoy!
