How to make it

  • Boil water for pasta, add 1tbsp salt and 1tbsp olive oil and drop in pasta, stirring until all strands submerged and separated;
  • Put olive oil and garlic in a large frying pan and cook over a medium heat;
  • When garlic starts to sizzle and change colour, add parsley, chilli and touch of salt; Stir well to mix and remove from heat;
  • When Pasta is cooked “al dente”, return pan with sauce to a low heat, drain the pasta and add it to the sauce;
  • Toss until the pasta is well coated with the sauce;
  • Taste for salt and spiciness and serve.

    I was looking for something that was quick, but good and Don recommended this to me. It truly was quick and simple. I did add some pancetta (he recommended bacon or shrimp and this is what I had on hand). Most importantly, it was delicious! I love it when you can get such a good meal without a lot of time or work. I only had angel hair pasta, but it worked just fine. I will definitely keep this in mind for a quick meal. Also hubby loved it and told me I need to make more next time - he definitely wanted seconds! Thanks Don! Truly loved it!
