Chicken Cacciatore In Crockpot Recipe

How to make it

  • 1. In frying pan, heat 2 tbsp olive oil, brown pancetta and garlic till lightly browned,
  • 2. Spray crock pot with cooking spray.
  • 3. Add pancetta & garlic to crock pot, using slotted spoon to drain oil.
  • 4. Drudge chicken in flour and then
  • 5. Add chicken to frying pan and brown on all sides.
  • 6. Add chicken to crock pot.
  • 7. Add 2 tbsp olive oil to frying pan and saute peppers, onions, mushrooms and carrots and toss in oil and saute 3-4 minutes.
  • 8. Add vegetables to crock pot.
  • 9. In frying pan, add tomatoes with juice, chicken broth and wine adding seasoning, bring to boil and cook 5 minutes, Pour over into crock pot.
  • 10. In crock pot set for 4 hours or slow cook 8 hours.
  • 11. One hour before serving, add olives and cheese and continue to cook.
