Ingredients

How to make it

  • 1) In large bowl, combine beef and seasoning mix, mixing lightly but thoroughly. Shape mixture into four 1/2 inch thick patties.
  • 2) In large skillet heat oil over medium heat. Add burgers, cook 4 minutes on each side. Remove from pan. In same skillet, add peppers and onions, cook and stir 5-7 minutes or lightly browned and tender.
  • 3) On center of each tortilla place 1/2 cup pepper mixture, one burger and 3 T. Cheese. Fold sides of tortilla over burger, fold top and bottom to close, forming square.
  • 4) Wipe skillet clean. Add wraps seam side down, cooking over medium heat 1-2 minutes on each side or until golden brown and when thermometer inserted into beef reads 160 F.

Ooops Sorry! I'm making these little devils right now and I see I read over the instructions too quickly - missed the pre-cooking of the patties! :)

What an interesting method!! I'm going to try this one - 1-2 minutes might have to be played with to get the meat done enough, but just sounds so good! Thanks for posting.
