Cajun Seafood Over Pasta

- 2 cups half & half shopping list
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped shopping list
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped shopping list
- 2 teaspoons cajun seasoning shopping list
- 1 teaspoon white pepper shopping list
- 1 cup green onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 cup parsley, chopped shopping list
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined (or prawns) shopping list
- 1 pound sea scallops shopping list
- 1 pound jumbo lump crab meat shopping list
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese shopping list
- 1/2 cup grated Asaigo cheese shopping list
- 1 pound fettuccine pasta shopping list
- EVOO shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Bring a large pot of water to boil, add fettuccine. Cook as directed.
- 2. Add a small amount of EVOO to large frying pan.
- 3. Add shrimp and scallops. Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon cajun seasoning and saute until shrimp are pink. Do not overcook.
- 4. Remove shrimp and scallops from pan and keep warm.
- 5. Add to pan half and half, herbs, pepper, onions and 1 teaspoon cajun seasoning.
- 6. Simmer 5 minutes or until slightly thickened.
- 7. Stir in shrimp, scallops, crab meat and cheeses.
- 8. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- 9. Serve over fettuccine and sprinkle with additional cheese and parsley.
