How to make it

  • Grate white cheddar, set aside
  • Grate parmesan set aside in same bowl
  • Shred potatoes onto a cheese cloth or linen cloth and squeeze to get rid of excess water, place into bowl with cheese, mix well.
  • Add green onions, garlic powder, salt, pepper, mix well
  • Add flour and eggs, mix well.
  • In a frying pan, heat oil.
  • Using a large serving spoon, add by scoopful, flattening each Pattie, and fry until nicely browned, flip and brown on second side
  • Place on paper towels to drain
  • Add chili to sour cream place in a small dish in center of serving tray and surround by potato pancakes. Sprinkle with additional green onions and serve
