Diz's Deviled Eggs

- 8 Extra Large Hard Boiled Eggs (*See Note) shopping list
- 5 Tbsp. Mayonnaise shopping list
- 2 tsp. Yellow Mustard shopping list
- 1 3/4 tsp. Vinegar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. Sugar shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. (heaped) Coarse Ground Pepper shopping list
- 1 tsp. Dried Dill Weed shopping list
- 1/8 tsp. Salt, or more to taste shopping list
- *Note: I like to use Ken's Perfect Hard Boiled Egg method from Allrecipes. Fill a large pot with water, add 1 Tbsp. Salt, 2 Tbsp. Vinegar and bring to a boil. Add eggs to boiling water, let water come back to a boil and boil for 15 - 16 min. Remove eggs to a large bowl filled with ice water. Cool for 15 min., remove from water, and peel. shopping list
How to make it
- 1) Peel eggs and cut in half lengthwise.
- 2) Scoop yolks into a separate bowl. Mash egg yolks with a fork or even a small hand held mixer.
- 3) Add mayo, mustard, vinegar, and sugar and mix until smooth and creamy. Stir in pepper, dill weed, and salt.
- 4) Evenly spoon the filling back into the eggs. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Note: I like to make everything ahead of time and then fill the eggs right before serving.
