How to make it

  • Base:

  • Process biscuits and butter to fine crumbs. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform cake tin. Reserve.
  • Cheesecake:

  • Process all ingredients until smooth and creamy. Pour the mix onto the springform tin and bake at 150C for about an hour. The centre should be wobbly.
  • Caramel topping:

  • Melt butter, add sugar and stir until melted. When it starts to bubble add cream. Stir for about a min and add chestnuts. Let it cool down until it's time to decorate the cheesecake.
