Ingredients
  • Tortilla chips (I think Tositos Gold are the best b/c they are so hearty and will hold up to any toppings)
  • shredded cheddar
  • garlic salt - this is the key!

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Line an 8x8 pan with aluminum foil and spray with nonstick spray.
  3. Layer in chips, a light/moderate sprinkling of garlic salt, and cheese until well covered. (If you put on so much that you can't see the chips anymore, though, you'll get soggy nachos.)
  4. Bake at 350 for 10 min.
  5. Broil for 1-2 minutes, until edges of chips barely begin to brown.
  6. Serve with salsa or any other favorite dips.
  7. OPTION: Add cooked, seasoned chicken breast before the cheese.
  8. OPTION: Add Stretched Out Taco Meat before the cheese. The recipe is here: http://www.grouprecipes.com/14280/stretched-out-taco-meat.html
