How to make it

  • Mix together the rolled oats,flour,brown sugar,salt and baking powder.
  • Add in the shortening and water mix till it comes into a ball.
  • Roll out to 1/4 inch thick using rolled oats on board to prevent sticking. I cut mine out using a drinking glass.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 15 min.
  • It seems like this will never come together, but it does just takes a few minutes.
  • I use lactose gluten free oats.
