Quick Pickled Onions

- 1 cup water shopping list
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar shopping list
- 3 tbsp. white sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp.salt shopping list
- 1 med. onion sliced thinly. shopping list
- 1 large mason jar shopping list
How to make it
- In a small pot heat the water,apple cider vinegar, sugar and salt.
- Heat until boiling.
- Place the finely cut onion in the mason jar
- pour boiling liquid over onion. Seal the jar.
- Allow to sit at least 1 hour on the counter then and refrigerate over night.
- Can be eaten after the hour
- but i find it much better to leave it overnight in the fridge.
- This can be doubled .
