Fiery Red Shrimp With Cool Avocado Sauce

- Avocado Sauce: shopping list
- 2 avocados shopping list
- 2 Tbs. sour cream shopping list
- 2 Tbs fresh cilantro, optional (I was out, but wish I had it!) shopping list
- Juice of 1 or 2 limes, depending on how juicy shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder shopping list
- Salt & Pepper, to taste shopping list
- Fiery Shrimp: shopping list
- 1 lb. shrimp, shelled, deveined and tails removed or left on, your choice! shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. cumin shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika shopping list
- 1/4-1/2 tsp. cayenne shopping list
- Smoked seasoning salt (or regular seasoning salt) to taste shopping list
- Light squeeze of lime juice shopping list
How to make it
- Start by adding all of the avocado sauce ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
- In a bowl, mix the shrimp with all of the seasonings minus the lime juice.
- Heat oil in skillet over medium heat and saute shrimp, tossing until they turn pink and are cooked through, about 5 minutes. Squeeze with a little bit of lime juice. Serve on a round serving dish with a bowl of the avocado sauce in the middle for dipping, enjoy!!
