Super tasty fast cheap appetizer, good for a fish fry in place of hush puppies. But fun to make anytime you want a little fried nibble, almost a corn croquette, the honey drizzle makes it extra yummy.

Ingredients
- 2 cups of flour
- 1/4 cup of corn meal
- 3/4 to 7/8 cup of milk, depends on the humidity
- 3 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 -12 oz. can of whole kernal corn, drained
- 1 - 8 1/2 oz of cream style corn
- 2/3 cup of bacon, fried and crumbled
- Honey
- Powdered sugar
Directions
- Sift dry ingredients.
- Combine egg, milk, corn and bacon.
- Add to dry ingredients.
- Mix until well moistened.
- Drop by teaspoonsful into hot oil (370)
- Fry until golden brown.
- Drizzle with honey and dust with powdered sugar if desired.

Well first of all the directions mention milk but your ingredients don't say anything about milk. we guessed to add 2 tbl spoons of milk. then we made them and they turned out to be like funnel cake's with a little bit of corn.. they are too fluffy.
