How to make it

  • Sift dry ingredients.
  • Combine egg, milk, corn and bacon.
  • Add to dry ingredients.
  • Mix until well moistened.
  • Drop by teaspoonsful into hot oil (370)
  • Fry until golden brown.
  • Drizzle with honey and dust with powdered sugar if desired.

    Made it tonight with 30 oz of golden kernals (didnt have creamed corn). Nice flavors but I agree with jargon. Totaly like funnel cakes, even with extra corn. Either use more corn or fry hotter. All and all verry good!

    well first of all the directions mention milk but your ingredients don't say anything about milk. we guessed to add 2 tbl spoons of milk. then we made them and they turned out to be like funnel cake's with a little bit of corn.. they are too fluffy.

    These are absolutely wonderful! We use Ranch for dipping but I thought I had died and gone to heaven! They brought back some great memories from high school! Thanks so much for a wonderful post!
