Ingredients
  • 1/2 gallon milk
  • 1 c. rice
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 TB butter
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c. dried apricots or peaches, minced
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

Directions
  1. Put all ingredients into a crockpot, stir to blend. Cover and cook
  2. 1 1/2 to 2 hours on high. Stir once after 1 hour. The longe it cooks the thicker it will be.

Rice pudding, definately an old fave of mine. I remember craving this while pregnant and when I couldn't sleep, making it just so I could fall back asleep :)


This is a wonderful way to prepare rice pudding!
