How to make it

  • Combine sugar, vinegar and spices then boil 5 minutes.
  • Add fruit and cook until tender.
  • Pack in sterilized jars then fill to within 1/4" of top with syrup.

    Hi. Mild vinegar is white vinegar. I do process the jars before packing. Enjoy.

    What is mild vinegar?Do you process the jars? This is a recipe that I truely look forward to making.My sister in law is the applesauce queen and queen of pickles.Hope to knock her off her thrown!!!LOL
