English Tea Sweets Recipe
This recipes was found in my grandmother's cook book from EARLY 1900's. As this is a very old antique recipe. I have 2 cookbooks in my possesions that are falling apart, old, etc.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Eagle Brand Condensed Milk
  • 1/2 cup nut meats, chopped
  • 14 crisp, salty crackers

Directions
  1. Cook milk in the top of a double boiler over boiling water 5 mins, or until thick.
  2. Remove from stove, mix with nuts, spread on crackers.
  3. Place on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake in a hot oven (450) for 5 mins or until lightly browned.
  5. May be serve hot or cold.
