How to make it

  • Peel and devein shrimp
  • Toss shrimp with copious amount of lemon pepper
  • Let rest covered approximately one hour
  • Sear quickly in hot oil/butter mixture until just cooked
  • Rinse shrimp under cold water to remove spices and chill
  • Drain on paper towel
  • Make dipping sauce by adding mayonaise, chili paste, scallion, cilantro and lemon juice

    Mmmmmm - sounds really good. We live in a small town in NE Texas so good raw shrimp is not often available. I may try it with some shrimp we got that is precooked. Cyndee
