Crockery Apples Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 to 5 cups peeled and sliced apples
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar (I used Splenda!)
  • 1/3 cup raisins
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 2/3 cup quick cooking or rolled oats
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

Directions
  1. Put apples in a mixing bowl and mix in the flour and sugar.
  2. Stir in raisins, cinnamon and oats
  3. Pour 1 cup water into crockpot.
  4. Add apple mixture.
  5. Pour melted butter over apples and then sprinkle with brown sugar.
  6. Cover and cook on LOW 4 to 6 hours.
  7. This goes great with either ice cream or milk!

Love the sound of this, I use Splenda also... really is a blessing for those with Diabeties...

I made this wonderful recipe! Thank you for something delicious to come home too. I used dried cranberries and zested an orange in with mine instead of the raisins. It was awesome! We had it with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream-wonderful autumn tradition...Thanks for a wonderful crockpot recipe...You Rock!
