Micheles Waffles

My Friend Michele makes these for me every time I visit. She often adds a cup of silk tofu to the mix for more protien.
Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups flour shopping list
- 2 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon sugar shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 3 beaten egg yolks shopping list
- 1 and 3/4 cups milk shopping list
- 1/2 cup vegtable oil shopping list
- 3 egg whites - beaten stiffly shopping list
- 1 Cup Silk tofu - Optional shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all dry ingredients. Combine yolks and milk. Stir into dry ingredients. Stir in oil and mix. GENTLY fold in beaten egg whites, do not over mix.
- Pour about 1/2 cup at a time into waffle iron.
