Ingredients

How to make it

  • Cook pasta in boiling water, following directions on the box.
  • Dice the onion and garlic.
  • Lightly cover the bottom of a small pot with oil and fry the diced onion and garlic at medium-low until onion is transparent.
  • Pour the nutritional yeast and soymilk into the pot.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients, somewhat in the order listed above, while mixing the contents at low heat.
  • Continue heating the sauce for a couple minutes, stirring often.
  • When pasta is done, strain it and mix with the sauce.
  • Enjoy!

    i was so excited to try this recipe, and I MUST have done something wrong, because the one I made came out terrible. The sauce did. I tasted the sauce on some of the noodles because if i didnt like it I didn't want to ruin all the pasta and man did I screw it up somehow. I'm disappointed cause I crave mac & cheese all the time :[ i'll have to try it again sometime.

    Thanks for the recipe, my 2 year old can not have dairy and I don't eat meat, so we are always looking for 'kid friendly' meals. Can't wait to try it:)
