How to make it

  • Cut the tomatoes into thick slices.
  • In a shallow pan, combine flour with salt and pepper.
  • Dip the tomato slices in the flour mixture.
  • Heat the butter in a large skillet.
  • Sprinkle half the brown sugar on the tomatoes.
  • Put tomatoes in skillet with butter and cook slowly.
  • Flip and sprinkle with remaining sugar.
  • When tomatoes are tender, pour the cream over the tomatoes and cook until it bubbles.
  • Really good served over rice!
